Post and Unit 51 Meeting reminder:
April 14th, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

Please bring a large covered dish of your choice and a dessert to accompany the meal.

If you're able to attend, please let us know so that we can ensure there is enough food for everyone. We look forward to seeing you all and having fellowship, a great meal and meeting.

Every March 29, we honor and recognize the 3 million servicemembers who were deployed and served in the Vietnam War. 🇺🇸 March 29 was chosen to remember the last U.S. combat troops who departed from Vietnam on March 29, 1973. On and around the same day, Hanoi released the last of their acknowledged prisoners of war. The end of the war is recognized to be the Fall of Saigon, which happened April 30, 1975, with civilians and U.S. personnel evacuating. There are more than 58,000 deaths documented and inscribed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. ❤️

To all Vietnam veterans, your service mattered, and it will never be forgotten. We are forever thankful for your courage and the sacrifices you made for our freedom. Today and every day, we honor you.

Meeting reminder:
Tomorrow night!
March 17th, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

Unit members will need to bring a covered dish of your choice and a dessert to accompany the meal. I'm not sure which meat for our meal, Post 51 will provide. We can never go wrong with fried chicken.. (hint)

I have a key lime pie for dessert that I'm bringing.

Thank you to our all of our ladies who were able to attend our lunch and have fellowship today. We had a wonderful meal and time together and plan to do this more often.

Good afternoon! I wanted to send a quick reminder to you all about our Unit 51 lunch together this coming Saturday. For those of you that can attend, meet me at Mi Toro here in Fulton at 11 am, please. They start serving at that time and I'd like for everyone to be there ready by 11.

I look forward to us spending time together and having a great lunch and meeting for our Unit. If you're able to attend, please confirm so that we have a proper head count for an appropriate table needed. I will post here to our Unit page as well as share to my personal fb, hoping to reach all. I hope you enjoy your day! See you Saturday!

Our January 12th, 2026 meeting is cancelled. This includes both our Unit as well as the Legion. Many of our members are sick and it is of the best interest for all that we cancel for health and safety of all. I pray for all.

Members please share to get the information out. I do not have contact info for everyone on the Legion side.

Reminder for our American Legion and VFW Family.

The Legion and VFW family's annual Christmas Dinner and Gift Exchange is this coming Tuesday evening, December 16th beginning at 6 p.m. (Originally set for the 9th)

We will all need to bring an extra large covered dish and a dessert for the meal. We will have the Dirty Santa Gift Exchange again this year. You will need to bring a $15 to $20 gift in order to participate in the gift exchange.

We look forward to seeing everyone and having a great meal together with fun and fellowship.

UPDATED INFO!
Due to family obligations with their kids and grands in the Fulton Christmas Parade and other events, I just got off the phone with our Commander Greg Nolan and VFW Commander Bryan Simmons, we have changed the date of the party in order to accommodate our organizations family's schedules. I hope this will help more people to be able to attend.
