There has perhaps never been a yummier holiday (except maybe Thanksgiving). Today is Chocolate Chip Day! The Good Dads team put their heads together for some fun ways for dads and kids to celebrate:

- Try a new chocolate chip cookie recipe

- Talk about baking measurements and learn more about the science of baking. What does baking powder even do, anyway?

- Deliver cookies to a neighbor or teacher

- Watch a documentary about how chocolate is made

- Melt chocolate chips and find fun things to dip: strawberries, almonds, pretzels are all tried-and-true!

- Deliver chocolate chip cookies to your favorite Good Dads staff person (only half-kidding)

Let us know how you'll spend this chocolatey day! We always love hearing stories of dads and kids bonding 🍪

Please join us in congratulating 13 hardworking dads in Joplin who celebrated their last evening of GOOD DADS 2.0 class this week! These dads have shown their dedication over the last 16 weeks to participate and learn in this rigorous fatherhood workshop. They've grown together as fathers and leaders. We are so proud of them!

We're also grateful for the collaboration and generosity of class facilitators Pete, Jeremy and Mike, and to The Alliance of SWMO for permitting us to use classroom space. Thank you for all that you do!

Good Dads is a Missouri-based program that teaches men how to be better fathers and role models to children. Ava Summers and Mary Holloway with Good Dads spoke about a new program they've launched in Fulton called Forge.

Please join us in congratulating seven committed dads who completed their last evening of Good Dads 2.0 class last week! These dads showed real drive by having great attendance for all 16 weeks of class, and we are so proud of them!

And many thanks as well to our longtime facilitators Janice and Matthew for their dedication to these dads. What you do is amazing!
