Local decisions shape our everyday lives—more than we often realize.

From school boards to city councils, what happens at the local level impacts our children, our neighborhoods, and our future.

This is your reminder to stay informed, stay engaged, and pay attention to what’s happening in your own community.

It’s easy to believe that one voice doesn’t make a difference.

But it does.

“Righteousness exalts a nation…” — Proverbs 14:34

Civic engagement is not about being loud —
it’s about being responsible.

Your voice, your values, and your participation all matter.

This week’s CAAP Minute was created with help from my son David, who is learning the importance of civic responsibility and media production at just 14 years old.

This is how we pass it down.
This is legacy.

Faith was never meant to stay inside the walls of the church. It influences how we live, how we lead, and how we steward the communities God has placed us in.

Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:7 to seek the welfare of the city where we live.

One way we do that is through civic engagement.

Tomorrow is Primary Election Day in Texas. If you live in Texas, make your voice heard.

Healthy communities are built when thoughtful citizens stay engaged.

Pray. Engage. Participate.
