The Fulshear Arts Alliance is building a regional database of muralists, sculptors, and public artists as we continue working to grow public art opportunities in our community.

We are excited about the future of art in Fulshear ,from murals and painted infrastructure to sculptures, creative placemaking, and community-driven installations , and we want to make sure local and regional artists are part of that vision from the very beginning.

If you are a working muralist, public artist, fabricator, or installation artist (or know someone who is), we would love to include you as a resource for future projects and commissions.

Exciting News, Fulshear!

After a long wait, the winning designs from our “Sights and Sounds of Fulshear” Art Contest are finally coming to life!
The artwork is now being wrapped on utility boxes across Fulshear, turning everyday spaces into vibrant celebrations of creativity and community.

A big congratulations to our chosen artists whose talent and vision are now part of the city’s landscape. We are so proud to showcase your work and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy these new pops of color and inspiration around town!

It’s official! Stay tuned for progress updates and future public art opportunities!!

At a July 16 meeting, Fulshear City Council approved several agreements to add art to traffic signal boxes, including a memorandum of understanding with the Fulshear Arts Alliance, artist releases and an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation.

I started the Fulshear Arts Alliance in 2020 with the purpose of bringing public art and civic art opportunities to Fulshear! I presented the utility box project to the city several years ago and finally, after a huge learning curve for everyone involved, it’s finally looking like it will be happening sooner than later. I’m so proud to have the opportunity to represent some of the amazing artists we have in Fulshear! Please know that despite what you may have seen or heard, none of the selections are official, but the artists chosen will be notified as soon as possible.
