LOVE. HONOR. TRUTH. http://BecomeASigmaNu.org These ideals and our strong diversity help us to achieve a level of brotherhood which is second to none.

Founded in 1989, the Lambda Upsilon Chapter (250) of Sigma Nu has maintained its reputation as one of CSUF’s premier fraternities. We pride ourselves by excelling in all areas of fraternal life including brotherhood, social, sports, academic, and leadership. It is often said that there is no “typical” Sigma Nu and this is due to our members’ great diversity of interests, activities, and backgrounds. We are all bound together by our pledge to the ideals of Love, Truth, and Honor which have been principles of Sigma Nu since the American Civil War era.

This week our Commander and Marshal had the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend College of Chapters at Sigma Nu HQ located in Lexington, Virginia. While at COC our brothers learned the fundamentals of leadership, explored the rich history of Sigma Nu, and learned what it truly means to live and love with honor alongside other chapters. Also pictured is our commander with the President of Sigma Nu National. It has been an honor. Thank you for representing our chapter well boys. 🐍⚔️

Happy Meet The Executive Monday!

For today’s post, we have brother Nathan Simieng. Nate is currently serving as the chapter’s Chaplain. Nate is at the heart of the chapter and is in charge of managing all brotherhood events and nurturing all brotherhood relationships. Nate is the true embodiment of one of our many fundamental values; love. Without the chaplain’s work, brother morale would be low, and Nate is there to keep the spirits of the brotherhood alive and well. Nate is currently a fourth-year student who is majoring in Kinesiology. Post-college, he hopes to become either a personal trainer or an athletic trainer. Outside of Sigma Nu, Nate is quite the fitness guru and works at a gym. He also enjoys music and binge-watching. When asked about his favorite aspect of the fraternity, Nate answered, “Having people to call my brothers. It is an honor to call them such. I would have never met them if not for this fraternity.” Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, Nate!
