The Rotaract club of CSUF closed the year with our final dinner banquet, celebrating the work our members put in and the community we rebuilt together. Vice president Diana Vilchis recognized members in attendance with honors for their service and commitment throughout the year. Each award reflected the effort that kept the club thriving.

Founding members also received an honorary award for reviving the club and redefining its meaning. Their work made everything this year possible.

The Rotaract Club of CSUF wrapped up our final board meeting with an evening that marked how far we’ve come in only one year. We started with five members and built a full, active and impactful club by trusting our own leadership and being willing to learn as a team.

The night felt like a reminder that everything we achieved came from our own drive, our own ideas and the people who kept showing up.

Here’s to a year of growth, confidence and forward motion.

The Rotaract Club of CSUF had an incredible night at the Back to the Radiant Futures Ball. The whole evening carried a magic that made everything fall into place.

Once the night kicked off, it felt like we went back in time with how quickly the energy picked up. Our volunteers worked alongside the Radiant Futures staff, who led the way with so much coordination and heart. Gregory and Magaly helped set the stage the day before with table settings and decorations.

The night of the ball, Gregory guided the volunteer team and captured the event, Diana brought the claw machine to life and Sergio and Pedro welcomed guests while keeping the auction running smoothly behind the scenes, helping raise proceeds that directly support Radiant Futures’ mission and the community they serve.

Thank you, Radiant Futures, for hosting such a special night and for letting our club be part of it.

The Rotaract Club of CSUF spent the evening at the 2026 Tuffy Awards alongside .hopefull President . It was a night that highlighted the dedication and heart behind student leadership on campus.

We were grateful to celebrate the accomplishments of so many organizations working to uplift the Titan community. Sharing the space with another service‑driven club made the night feel even more meaningful.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners who continue to shape what involvement looks like at CSUF. Nights like this remind us why we show up for our campus and each other.

ā€œBeing part of the 2026 Tuffy Awards was a chance to slow down and appreciate what this role has given me. As Communications Director, I spend most of my time behind the scenes writing captions, building photo collages and trying to capture the moments that show who we are as a club. Bringing storytelling and journalism into every little caption and every little photo collage is my way of making that impact personal.

What I’m most grateful for is the work that fills those stories. Like our time with , supporting their events and learning from the strength of the community they serve. Our work with , showing up for families who need it most. The service days, the small wins, the people who make this club feel steady and genuine. Getting to document that has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time here.

Being included in this year’s Tuffy Awards wasn’t about recognition. It was simply a reminder of how much I’ve grown through this role and how grateful I am for the opportunities we’ve had to build others up, create and to tell a story that actually matters.ā€

The Rotaract club of CSUF spent the evening at the Anaheim Packing District, sharing food and stories while taking a moment to slow down together. It was a night full of variety, good energy and the kind of conversations that remind us why this work matters.

We looked back at the impact our club has made on campus and in the community, recognizing the people and projects that shaped our year. It was a chance to appreciate how far we’ve come.

With the semester winding down, we’re gearing up for our final couple of events, closing strong, staying connected and finishing our first year with purpose.

spent part of our spring break volunteering at , a domestic violence shelter that provides safety, support, and stability for survivors and their families. Their Spring Fest brought the community together, and we were grateful to help make the day special.

hosted the egg hunt, worked directly with the children, greeted guests and assisted with the raffle, and .k.vilchis added color and joy through face painting. After we assisted in tearing down the beautiful setup, the Rotaract group ended the day by getting ice cream together.

Thank you to Radiant Futures for the incredible work you do every single day. Your commitment to survivors inspires our club to continue serving with intention and heart.
