Mesa Cooperativa de CSUF recognizes the need for the unity among the Chicano/Latino student organizations on campus. This organization was founded in 1992 by Chicano/Latino students and faculty members interested in a support network for students on campus. Since its founding, this council has continuously brought cultural, social, and educational events to all CSUF students and the local communit

y. The Bienvenida, Dia de los Padres, Chicano/Latino Heritage Month and The Cinco de Mayo celebration are some of the events Mesa hosts during the year. Mesa Cooperativa is much more than an organization, it's a family!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Día de los Padres 2026! 💙

Shoutout to our speakers, including Jessie Lopez and our First-Gen & Parent Panel, and to The Dream Resource Center for sharing important Know Your Rights resources. Thank you as well to our amazing performers — Ballet Folklórico, Mariachi Titans, and The Titan Banda Oaxaqueña.

We also appreciate all the clubs and organizations who came to table, everyone who brought their loved ones.
