In October of 2000, members of the Descanso Chrysanthemum Society who lived in Orange County decided it was time to start a mum club closer to home. As a result, the Orange County Chrysanthemum Society was established and recognized as a new chapter of the National Chrysanthemum Society. Currently, our membership includes mum growers and ethusiasts not only from the OC but also from Riverside and

San Bernardino counties. Our chapter exists to promotes interest in the Chrysanthemum and to foster interaction and the exchange of information among mum growers everywhere.
