Big energy, bright futures
We’re thrilled to welcome our newest Student Board Members to the Fullerton Education Foundation family! These inspiring young leaders joined our October board meeting with curiosity, courage, and a commitment to shaping the future of education in Fullerton.

We also had the joy of celebrating Alisha Martin, recipient of a $955 PIE Grant to bring her creative classroom vision to life! Her passion and innovation remind us why we do what we do.

We’re beaming with gratitude ☀️✨
Thanks to a generous Bright Futures Grant from the Orange County Power Authority, the Fullerton Education Foundation is launching a solar-powered initiative to support our unhoused neighbors—two tiny homes, powered by clean energy, built with compassion and purpose.
This grant fuels more than infrastructure—it empowers students with hands-on solar installation education, curriculum on grid integration, and a deeper understanding of how renewable energy can uplift entire communities.
Together, we’re building a brighter, more sustainable future—one tiny home, one student, one sunbeam at a time. 🌱💡
Thank you, , for believing in our mission and helping us turn light into lasting change.

🏒 Reflecting on an Incredible FSD Hockey Season! 🏒
This year’s hockey tournaments brought together 384 students from 24 schools—and what an exciting, high-energy showcase it was!

Each year, we’re amazed by how much our students—and their coaches—grow in skill, teamwork, and strategy. It’s clear that these tournaments are becoming a treasured part of the school year, and the level of play just keeps getting better!
What stood out just as much as the gameplay? The sportsmanship. In the face of more competitive matches, we saw outstanding respect, encouragement, and character from all players.

We are so proud to be supporters of students and a sponsor for the Fullerton School District Hockey Tournament 2025. These tournaments are unlike anything else in education, and we are proud to help foster not just great athletes—but great students.

Thanks to the $1,000 Minard Duncan “Empowering Connections” Legacy Grant, Nicolas Junior High School hosted a meaningful Unity Learning Event that brought together teachers, students, and parents in a powerful celebration of connection and community. The event created space for shared learning, open dialogue, and strengthened relationships among all members of the school community. We’re proud to support initiatives that reflect the heart of Minard Duncan’s legacy—bringing people together through education.
