We are very happy to start our food assistance program to Cypress College pantry this year in addition to our Cal Sate Long Beach pantry assistance program. Thanks to the volunteers for the distribution. This will greatly help with the food insecurity that is so prevalent among the economically disadvantaged students!

Please come and support the fund raising musical event for the Hot Food Drive!! Talented local youngsters will be performing on December 18th at Joy of Sharing community center in Norwalk.

U-Turn Lives has been partnering with the Joy of Sharing Foundation in their mission to provide freshly cooked vegetarian meals to support the surrounding communities since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
So far 8,700 grocery bags, 243819 meals served, 615 throws and blankets, 500 beanies, 500 gloves and 100 tarps have been donated to economically distressed , homeless and disadvantaged population on Skidrow, Compton, the Women’s Center, and Venice Beach.
The need for this mission is growing and we need your help to support 🙏🏽

It’s the time of the year again!! The free medical camp is coming to Anaheim on November 12-13, 2022. U-Turn lives will be providing meals for volunteers , physicians and helping in the camp!! In an effort to continue to support our student population that require additional support with their food insecurity, our program added Cal State Fullerton pantry support also in the last 2 years. We were able to supply not only food and groceries but also clothing and bedding items as well. 🙏🏽

Truckload of food delivered this weekend to the student pantry by our awesome volunteers. 🥣 🍚 🍝 🥗 🧅🥕
We were excited to deliver:
100lbs of potatoes
100lbs of onion
Dozens of cabbage and cauliflower
25 lbs of carrots
100 pasta & pasta sauce
4 boxes of oatmeal,
4 boxes of nutrition bar,
9 boxes of chicken soup

With sky rocketing grocery prices, we can’t imagine how hard it is for students to manage while putting themselves through college education to earn a career. We strive to continue with our free grocery delivery program to the pantry at the university to support the students that are struggling to make ends meet.

We delivered 100 lbs rice, 100 lbs beans, 100 pasta packets along with pasta sauce, oatmeal, nutrition bars, onions, potato, carrots, cabbages, cauliflower, chicken soup!! 🍝 🥔🥕 🥣 🍙
