Fullerton Children's Repertory Theater (FCRT)

Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater was founded in 1983 for the purpose of providing North OC youth an opportunity to experience musical theater.

Fullerton Children's Repertory Theater provided North Orange County youth the opportunity to experience quality musical theater for 34 years. On June 19, 2016, the Fullerton Children’s Repertory Theater held its closing reception at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. Co-found Vicki Schindele says it best. “All good things must come to an end at some point,” said Schindele, who felt ready to retire.

“I wanted to have this repertory spirit that’s really grown, evolved, over 34 years, last right to the very end.”

All shows start at 7:30 PM with the exception of 7/2 which will feature both shows on one night! Shows will begin at 5PM on 7/2.

What are you doing Tuesday, August 24th? It'll be a great evening to see some of your old FCRT friends, enjoy The Muckenthaler Cultural Center and see what The Electric Company Theatre has in store for it's inaugural season!

Former FCRT member and director, Brian Johnson, along with his wife, Callie Prendiville Johnson are the co-artistic directors for The Electric Company Theatre which is now the resident theatre company of The Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton. The Electric Company Theatre will produce full-length plays, immersive experiences, and an intimate storytelling and concert series, on the grounds and in the beautiful 1920s mansion.

Tickets are now on sale for their very FIRST event at The Muckenthaler Cultural Center - an evening of preview performances from their entire season of experiences! Guests will receive a welcome drink, get a personalized tour of The Muck and see scene selections from the season's shows, as well as an exclusive first look at THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON with performances by the cast - including former reppie Wyatt Logan!
