CSUF Music Industry Club The Music Industry Club is a club at CSUF that focuses on providing opportunities for students to learn more about the music industry. Join us!

We are dedicated towards the interests of our members by helping them explore the music industry, prospective careers through the invitation of guest speakers. Through collaboration and collective learning as a group, we aim to prepare students who are hoping to break into this unique and multi-faceted industry. With many clubs focusing on the various sectors within the entertainment industry, we

Introducing our Artist of the Week. BLYTHE DAVIS.

BLYTHE DAVIS is a 23-year old singer-songwriter from New York City. After starting to release original songs earlier this year in 2026, her tiktok account gained traction after videos including the songs "Florentina", "intrusive thoughts" (unreleased) and
"Dog Eat Dog", went viral. She went viral for her clever and witty lyricism and the satirical effect of her writing. Blythe released her debut single, "Dog Eat Dog' on streaming platforms in response to its social media virality. She most recently released her 2nd single "Florentina" in August of 2026.

Introducing our Artist of the Week. Juliet Ivy.

JULIET IVY is a 25-year old singer-songwriter from New York City. Known for her unique lyrics and dreamy melodies, Juliet creates a music al world that blends popl, indie folk, and hyperpop into one sound. By combining existential and introspective subject matter with playful lyrics, Julie's music presents a child-like sense of wonder amd an intellectual view of the world. Juliet released her debut EP, Playpen, in 2024 with viral hit "we're all eating each other" and most recently release her 3rd EP, Cosmic Wink earlier this year in February of 2026.

Introducing our Artist of the Week. SWELL FOOP.

SWELL FOOP is a three-person indie rock band from Berkeley, California. The band is made up of Sophia Shen and Miranda Loyer on vocals, guitar, and bass, with Tiena Elias on drums.
The three met while attending UC Berkeley and started out playing DIY venues and backyard shows. Shen and Loyer's songwriting combines introspective lyrics with immersive melodies that explore themes of femininity, identity, and change. The group released their debut EP, Don't Spare Me, in 2024 and is set to release their debut album, Most Likely, in fall 2026.

Introducing our Artist of the Week. CRUZA.

CRUZAS' sound is one that stimulates the senses.
Their music takes elements from left-field R&B and alternative rock to create a seamless multi genre blend. The Orlando based band, comprised of four members, AJ, Charity, Adam, and Sago, got their start in 2018. Since then, the band has released numerous projects and collaborations. In 2022, they signed to Def Jam Records and followed up with their sound-defining projects, Paranoia Pack and Cruzafied.

Meet our panelists Hannah Avison⭐️🎤

Hannah is a #1 charting songwriter, artist, vocal producer, and music activist. She has collaborated with major artists like Marshmello, Lauv, Ava Max, Fletcher, and Jordin Sparks. She also serves as Head of Community Outreach for The 100 Percenters, advocating for songwriters’ rights. Her work includes a viral video on industry safety, a Pride songwriting camp, and grant programs for songwriters in need. Across both creative and advocacy spaces, Hannah is a driving force in the music industry.
