MORE INFORMATION FOR TRUNK OR TREAT!! (sorry for the long read, but PLEASE READ)
We have ONE big event left for the 2026 Season! Trunk or Treat will be happening on Saturday October 10th at the Community Center Parking Lot from 3:00-5:00 PM. Don’t forget to decorate your carts, cars, and UTVs!
And guess who is coming back to celebrate with us? Our favorite Frye Guys! Now known as The Wharf24, our favorite guys are coming back with their food truck from 4:00-7:00 PM. They are still working on their menu, and once we have it, we will share it here and on our social media pages.
But wait, there’s more! For the past five years, the Executive Committee and the Community Center Improvement Committee have worked tirelessly to repair and renovate our much beloved Community Center. The final piece was bringing back the bar area that many long-term islanders have missed at this wonderful meeting spot. There were MANY, MANY folks who donated financially, donated materials, and donated their time in making this dream a reality.
To honor all the people involved in this project, The Executive Committee is inviting people to stop by the Community Center during Trunk or Treat to see all the hard work that has been done.
From 5:00 PM-7:00 PM adults 21+ will be given the chance to come upstairs to the bar area to meet many of the folks that spearheaded this project and those that donated in some way to make it all happen and have a complimentary beverage. During this time the Community Center will be open, but only those that are 21+ will be allowed upstairs so we encourage people to bring your ID. Ultimately, this upstairs area will be a 21+ spot and we will have a suggestion box for ideas on what you’d like to see as far as events or activities.
So, start planning your Halloween costumes, start thinking of events you’d like to see at the Community Center and bar area, and we will see you on Saturday October 10th!
