Alivea Todd Memorial & Family Support Fundraiser⚽️

Saltwater Elite SC and Dorchester United are coming together as one soccer community to honor the memory of Alivea Todd and support the Todd family during this incredibly difficult time.

Our soccer community has always been about more than what happens on the field. When one of our families is hurting, we come together as one.

💙 We are collecting donations to put together a special care package for the Todd family, including gift cards from local restaurants and businesses to help with meals and everyday needs while also supporting our local community.

💚 Any additional funds will be placed on a Visa gift card for the family to use wherever it is needed most.

💙 Our hope is simply to take a few things off their plate and remind them that they are surrounded by an entire community that cares.

It’s not always about the score — it’s about how we got here. ⚽️💙

Another great season full of fun, friendships, growth, and soccer. What made this one so special was bringing together kids from different clubs, skill levels, personalities, and playing styles — and watching them become one team with one dream.

We won, we lost, we learned, we laughed, and we kept going. We built friendships, supported one another, and most importantly, kept the love of the game alive.

A huge THANK YOU to SaltTale Charters, Manley Masterworks, and RAMS for making this season possible at no cost to our players and families. Because of businesses like you, these kids had the opportunity to grow a little stronger, play a little harder, and become a little better together.

Thank you for believing in our kids and being such a big part of the Saltwater Elite family.

🏆 PLAYOFF GAME #1: VICTORY! 🏆

Some victories are about the final score.

This one was about heart.

After falling behind 2-0 before halftime, these kids could have hung their heads. Instead, they regrouped, reminded one another never to underestimate themselves, believed in each other, and returned to the field determined to do the hard work for one another.

Within the first few minutes of the second half, they found the back of the net twice to even the score.

2-2.

With regulation ending in a tie, the game moved into sudden-death overtime.

Then, with only seconds remaining in the first five-minute overtime period, one of our youngest teammates buried the game-winning goal.

The kids erupted in cheers. They rushed over, lifted our little Messi-wearing teammate right off the field, and carried him away in celebration.

It was one of those special moments that makes every practice, every hard conversation, every long night, and every ounce of effort worth it. As a parent and a coach, those are the moments you hold onto—the moments when you get to watch kids believe in themselves, believe in each other, and experience the joy of accomplishing something together.

Final Score: 3-2.

What made this win special wasn’t just the comeback—it was the resilience these young athletes showed. They never quit, never stopped believing, and continued to play for each other until the very last whistle.

We couldn’t be prouder of the grit, determination, and teamwork this group displayed. Moments like these are why we love this game.

Now it’s time to reset, recover, and get ready for the next challenge.

VICTORY. ⚽️🌊

Tonight was about so much more than the final score.

It was about a great group of kids from Dorchester County coming together, supporting one another, and playing with heart for the love of the game.

These kids faced multiple challenges and adversity along the way, but they refused to let those obstacles define them as a team. They stayed together, trusted each other, and found a way to overcome every challenge that stood in their path.

Nights like this are what it’s all about. Watching these kids encourage one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and grow as teammates reminds you why this game is so special.

Tonight was a big win—but even more importantly, it was a reminder of what can happen when young athletes believe in each other, and play for something bigger than themselves.

So proud of this group. Congratulations on a well-earned victory!

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Before the fireworks, parades, and celebrations, America’s story began with courage, sacrifice, and teamwork.

In 1775, brave men from the 13 colonies stood together against the British at Lexington and Concord, beginning the fight for freedom. They were not a perfect army. Many were farmers, fathers, sons, neighbors, and ordinary people who chose to stand for something bigger than themselves.

The road to independence was not quick, easy, or guaranteed. The American Revolution included over 230 battles and skirmishes, and General George Washington’s army lost more battles than it won before finally securing victory. They faced hunger, freezing winters, fear, loss, and defeat — but they kept showing up.

From the hardships of Valley Forge to the final victory at Yorktown, America’s freedom was not won by one person alone. It was won through bravery, teamwork, faith, sacrifice, and the belief that freedom was worth standing for — and, when necessary, worth fighting for.

On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence announced that America would no longer be ruled by the British Crown. It was more than a document. It was a promise that liberty mattered, that the people had a voice, and that future generations deserved freedom.

That same spirit still matters today — on the field, in our families, in our communities, and across our country. Great things happen when people come together with courage, purpose, and heart.

So as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, let’s remember the brave patriots who fought for our freedom, the battles they endured, and the teamwork that helped build a nation.
