What a summer it’s been! It started late, wildfires cutting it short and smoke all along the way, but our kids are so amazingly resilient and have rolled with the punches. It’s not always easy but we keep going!
💖✨ Girls Sleepover was a success! ✨💖
Even though things looked a little different than we originally planned, we still had an amazing couple days full of laughs, learning, and making memories together! 🥰
One of our favorite traditions is our Thrift Fashion Show! 👗🛍️ Thanks to our partnership with Salvation Army, the girls got to “shop” for an outfit from head to toe. They added up the cost of their thrifted finds, then researched what the same (or similar) items would cost brand new using Google Shopping. 💸📱
The girls were shocked by the savings—and even found pieces with the original tags still on them! 🤯👏 Afterward, they enjoyed a well-earned ladies lunch at Three Peaks Restaurant, where they practiced ordering their own meals using good manners and confident voices. 🍽️💕
We also talked about the environmental impact of fast fashion 🌎♻️ and agreed that shopping secondhand is not only budget-friendly but also a fun way to find unique pieces while giving clothes another life. ❤️
Next, the girls decorated coffee sleeves with positive messages and cute artwork ☕🎨 to donate to our local coffee shop, The Love Birds. After earning a sweet treat 🍪, we finished the day with some swimming fun at Fort Spokane! 🏊♀️☀️
These camps and sleepovers are about so much more than just having fun—they’re about building confidence, learning life skills, giving back to our community, and creating friendships that last. 💕 We’re already counting down until next year! ✨
