IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE ✨

After thoughtful consideration, the Fruita Foundation has made the difficult decision to postpone our Monumental Lights Gala to Friday, October 9, 2026.

As we approached the event, we recognized that busy summer schedules and timing conflicts would make it difficult to create the level of community participation and fundraising impact this special evening deserves. Rather than move forward with a smaller event, we want to ensure this becomes a meaningful and successful celebration of Fruita’s future.

The Monumental Lights Gala supports important community initiatives including:

⭐ Fruita’s Future CEO’s Program for young entrepreneurs
⭐ Fruita student scholarships
⭐ Workforce and youth development initiatives
⭐ Cultural preservation and Fruita history efforts

We are incredibly grateful for the support already shown by our sponsors, ticket holders, donors, entertainers, volunteers, and community partners.

All purchased tickets and table sponsorships may either transfer to the new October 9 date or receive a full refund. Ticket holders will be contacted directly with additional details.

We remain excited for an unforgettable evening at Monument Vista Place featuring live entertainment, a live auction, paddle raise, stunning views, and a celebration focused on investing back into our community.

Last year's Monumental Lights Gala raised $8,400 for student entrepreneurship and scholarships.
This year we're going bigger.
Proceeds from this event fund real things: scholarships for Fruita students, the Kids in Business program at the Fruita Farmer's Market, and the fall launch of Fruita's Future CEO program, where local students learn to actually run a business.
Food by GJ Fusion. Drinks by Reckless Brewing Company. Live jazz from Hot Tub Jazz. And a chance to be part of something that sticks around long after the night is over.

🌱🎓 FFA Seniors - This One’s for You!

The Fruita Foundation FFA Scholarship is now open for graduating seniors who are members of the Future Farmers of America or pursuing an agriculture focused career pathway.

If you're planning to pursue a future in agriculture, agribusiness, veterinary science, environmental studies, or another related field, this scholarship was created to support you and the important work you’re stepping into.

🌾 One recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship, paid directly to the financial aid department of their chosen institution.

Agriculture is a cornerstone of our community and economy, and we’re proud to invest in the next generation of leaders who will steward our land, businesses, and rural traditions.

Applications are reviewed by the Fruita Foundation Board.

🔨⚡ Building the Future Starts with Skilled Hands.

The Fruita Foundation Trade Industry Scholarship is now open for high school seniors attending school in Fruita, homeschooled in Fruita, or Fruita area residents attending another high school in the valley.

This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in skilled trades such as construction, welding, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, auto mechanics, and similar industries, the very professions that keep our homes built, our lights on, and our community running strong.

💪 One student will receive a $1,000 scholarship, paid directly to the financial aid department of their chosen trade school or apprenticeship program.
Applications are reviewed by the Fruita Foundation Board.

Skilled trades are essential to a thriving local economy, and we are proud to invest in the next generation of builders, makers, and problem-solvers.

The Fruita Foundation Certification Program Scholarship is now open for high school seniors in Fruita and the surrounding area who plan to pursue a professional certification.

Whether your path includes healthcare (CNA, EMT, phlebotomy), IT, cybersecurity, welding, mechanics, commercial driving (CDL), or another industry-recognized credential, this scholarship was created to support hands-on careers that keep our community moving forward.
