Mama Macy has officially submitted her resignation. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. 😂

SHE IS DONE. D-O-N-E.

Eight babies. EIGHT. Six of her own and two bonus orphans she graciously agreed to raise.

And now? These little freeloaders have officially worn out their welcome at the milk bar.

GET YOUR OWN FOOD. DRINK YOUR OWN WATER. AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, SOMEBODY ELSE CAN CLEAN YOUR BUTTS!

Mama Macy has clocked OUT.

Just look at these pictures! She’s trying to enjoy a little peace and quiet, and somebody is STILL showing up at the counter asking for service.

Ma’am, THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED!

Thankfully, Candi has been right there helping this wonderful mama raise her little Addams Family, and these babies are preparing to head off to their forever homes.

But what about Mama Macy?

Well, friends, we would LOVE to find this girl a wonderful foster-to-adopt home!

We are still learning about Macy outside of motherhood. When our mama dogs arrive with young puppies, we keep them pretty isolated while they raise their families. That means we haven’t had the opportunity to fully get to know Macy as an individual just yet.

What we do know is that she has been an incredible mama, she deserves a family of her very own, and we would love to see her begin that next chapter while we continue working through her remaining veterinary care and learning more about her personality.

A patient, loving foster-to-adopt family could be exactly what this girl needs!

No more nursing. No more diaper duty. No more eight little monsters hanging off every available body part.

Just good groceries, belly rubs, naps and somebody who loves HER.

Mama Macy, you have earned your retirement, girlfriend.

FULL-TIME DOG KENNEL POSITION!
40 hour work week, starting pay is $13/hr (raise available after 90 days)
This position will mainly be working in the dog kennels & helping the customers with finding their furever dog!
Must be available to work weekends & holidays. Flexibility with schedules.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a desire and passion for animals.
Must be able to communicate well with the public.
Must be okay with cleaning AND walking dogs.
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Must be comfortable with handling dogs of all sizes.
We are looking for a long-term employee.
Hours:
Monday 8-2pm
Tuesday OFF
Wednesday 8-430pm
Thursday 8-430pm
Friday 8-430pm
Saturday 8-430pm
Sunday 8-10am

The Addams Family has officially survived their FINAL vet appointment before heading off to their forever families! 🖤

And judging by the message we received from their foster, Candi, we’re not entirely sure SHE survived it! 🤪 THEY ARE WILD-

Her exact words:

“Holy vet appointment, I feel like I’ve been beat and ran over wrangling these crazies at the vet.”

I am STILL laughing because anyone who has ever fostered a litter of puppies knows exactly what she means!

Eight growing, wiggling, opinionated little Addams Family members at one vet appointment. Can you imagine?!

And would you look at them? After all that chaos, they piled themselves into a corner and pretended to be innocent little angels. We know better!

Mama Macy’s babies have come such a long way since arriving in rescue, and we are so excited to see them getting ready for their next chapters.

Candi, THANK YOU! For the sleepless nights, endless cleaning, feeding, puppy wrangling, vet appointments and everything else that comes with raising eight little monsters. You have given this entire family an incredible start. ❤️

Our Cal-Girl’s first night in her FOREVER home. 🤎🐾

And y’all, LOOK AT HER.

She played with her new brothers, ate dinner, played some more, climbed into bed like she had been waiting her whole life for that invitation, and barely moved all night. This morning brought more playtime, breakfast, and a walk.

She is settling in beautifully.

And this is exactly what rescue asks us to do.

We love them, learn them, advocate for them, and then get them to their BEST forever.

Callie is there.

She has brothers, which feels just about perfect for a girl who always seemed to love the boys on our property best. 😂 Sis could be a little spoiled and bratty sometimes, so I think Callie is going to enjoy having her own crew of fellas.

This update made me smile from ear to ear.

No sadness over here today. Just pure happiness knowing our cowgirl landed exactly where she belongs. Thank you all for loving her, best.

🩷 DEMI HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! 🩷 Friends of Randolph Co. Animals

Yesterday, our beautiful Demi officially headed off to her forever home!!

From the little girl who arrived with hardly any fur and so much healing ahead of her, to the healthy, happy, absolutely fantastic dog she is today. What a journey this girl has had!

A HUGE thank you to her wonderful fosters for loving her through every step of that journey. To her adopters, thank you for choosing our girl and giving her the forever she deserves! ❤️

And a special thank you to Candy, who works so hard behind the scenes coordinating meet and greets, communicating with families and helping make these adoption days happen. So much goes into every single adoption!

Happy forever, Demi!! We cannot wait for the pupdates!

And to her new family, good luck with that whole personal space thing. 😂🩷🐾
