Meet Bolt — a beautiful and precious 76-pound German Shepherd/Husky mix and the very first rescue of Mission Darling Dogs. 🐾❤️
Today was a big and emotional day for him. I’m attaching pictures and videos from today, along with the vet receipt for his upcoming left rear leg FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery that he urgently needs to have a good quality of life ahead ‼️‼️
As a new rescue, taking on our very first case as a medical emergency—with no foster home available yet…..has not been easy but we jumped into it knowing that there was hardly any time left🙏🏼🙏🏼
But when a dog like Bolt is in pain and out of options, you do what you can and figure the rest out along the way.
Bolt has a long recovery ahead after surgery, and it will take time.
We will continue posting his progress, updates, and recovery journey every step of the way until he reaches his final placement and forever home.
We are currently asking for pledges and donations toward his surgery and ongoing medical care. No amount is too small, and even sharing this post could help Bolt reach someone willing to support him.
If you would like to help Bolt, donations and pledges can be sent at the VENMO link attached with this message
Please comment below or message me directly if you have any questions.
Thank you for supporting Bolt and believing in rescue dogs like him. ❤️
