If your desire as a creative is to just gain influence or impress people, you will never be fulfilled.

Even in creativity, when you know you’ve created something that’s honest to the Lord and to yourself, it doesn’t matter what others think. The beautiful thing is when we minister to the Lord solely out of a place of intimacy and sacrifice, the Lord naturally ushers us into the position we need to be. It’s okay to make goals and desire influence for kingdom impact, but we can never forget the importance of the secret place in His presence. It’s what guides and fuels us as creatives.

Yes, you were designed to create, but your creation is not who you are. No matter what you create, YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made! Don’t place your worth in your work. Only the Lord can reveal your true value.

Yesterday, we were blessed to hear Bernstein's personal message on faith at Fellowship Power Lunch — and honestly, words almost aren't enough to capture it.

Janet's story was raw. It was personal. It was the kind of testimony that makes a room go completely still.
She shared how she spent years holding so much in — building a wall, without even realizing it was a wall — until life finally asked her to tear it down. She talked about finding grace in the most unexpected places, and about a faith journey that didn't look like anyone else's: a Christian woman, married to a Jewish husband, who taught her that love and respect can hold two different faiths without either one having to shrink.

Somewhere between the honesty and the humor, she stopped being "the speaker" and just became a woman standing in her truth. And the room felt it. Tears flowed freely, because so many of us recognized pieces of our own walls in her story.

Watching Janet step into who she is now — a powerful voice for so many, embracing this new chapter fully — was a gift. Thank you, Janet, for trusting us with your heart today. 💛
