🙏 A Higher Standard: The Fear of the Lord and the Church of This Hour 🙏
Holy Spirit of God is unveiling a profound recalibration within the body of Christ, a shift that summons every believer to approach decision-making not from the place of human reasoning but from the posture of holy reverence. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and in this hour the Lord is restoring that fear as the governing principle of His house.
God is calling His people to a higher standard of obedience, to a submission that yields fully to His will even when His will runs contrary to our own desires. In this season the consequences of disobedience will become more pronounced, and the path that bears His blessing will become more distinct, for the Lord is sharpening the line between that which is born of the flesh and that which is born of the Spirit.
We are summoned, therefore, to cultivate humility, to walk in surrender, and to pursue the presence of God with intentionality through prayer and through the Word. As we draw near to Him, He draws near to us (James 4:8), and our spirits become increasingly attuned to the voice of the One who leads.
The Lord is challenging His church to step out in faith and obedience, to forsake the comfort of familiar places, and to advance the purposes of His Kingdom in the earth. He is not seeking a divided people; He is seeking a church wholly consecrated to His purposes.
Let us, then, navigate this new landscape with holy reverence, with humble dependence upon God, and with unwavering commitment to His will. May we seek His face, discern His voice, and walk in the obedience that honours Him, confident that He will direct our every step (Proverbs 3:5–6). 🙏
