Meet Amanda Baze Hall, Board Member at Melody of Hope.
Amanda has served on the Melody of Hope Board since 2021 and brings creativity, nonprofit leadership, and a deep passion for serving others. Her heart for people and the arts helps strengthen our mission of creating opportunities for artists throughout North Texas.
Amanda is a creative through and through. She is an artist, writer, photographer, graphic designer, calligrapher, and nonprofit consultant certified in Nonprofit Leadership and Organizational Management.
She also serves on the national Board of Directors for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Baylor Scott & White Women's Healthcare Council, bringing valuable leadership, creativity, and a servant's heart to Melody of Hope.
Outside of Melody of Hope, Amanda spends most of her time raising her energetic teenage daughter and investing in the people she loves most.
She's passionate about building stronger communities through nonprofit work and enjoys reading, the arts, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
For Amanda, one of the most meaningful parts of serving on the Melody of Hope Board is connecting with the artists who make our mission come to life.
In her words:
"My absolute favorite moments in Melody of Hope are when I am able to connect with our incredible artists. I am energized by their passion for our mission and look forward to growth to accommodate more artists and more paid gig opportunities."
A few fun facts about Amanda:
Former Ms. Wheelchair Texas titleholder
She's flown a plane.
Fireworks and fireflies are two of her favorite things.
Her Starbucks order is a hot, decaf, upside-down caramel macchiato.
Basketball is her favorite sport, and the smell of a gym still reminds her of home.
Amanda is excited about Melody of Hope's future and the opportunity to continue creating more paid performance opportunities for local artists.
She looks forward to seeing our artist community grow, building even stronger relationships, and helping more musicians use their gifts to make an impact throughout North Texas.
Together, our board helps provide the guidance, leadership, and support that allows Melody of Hope to continue serving artists and our community.
