Summit County Resource Allocation Park Mulch Sale is on, and it's a great time to give your landscape some protection before the snow arrives!

Our mulch is the circular economy in action. Pallets and raw dimensional lumber that would otherwise end up as waste are ground down and turned into quality mulch for local yards and gardens. When you buy it, you're helping keep usable material out of the landfill and putting it back to work right here in Summit County.

From the patch to the porch to... the compost pile? 🍂✨

'Tis the season for pumpkin patches, hayrides, and picking out the perfect pumpkin to bring home. But once the season's over and your pumpkin's time on the porch is done, don't let it end up in a landfill. Give it the ending it deserves.

Starting October 24, Summit County residents can drop off their pumpkins for free composting through November 15.

Plan ahead this pumpkin patch season. Your pumpkin's second act awaits. 🎃🎃🎃

2025 was a year of real progress for Summit County, all thanks to YOU!

From diverting millions of pounds of waste to strengthening our community programs, this past year reflects what's possible when we work together. Our 2025 Annual Report is a look back at just a few of the milestones we're proud to share.

None of it happens without our partners and donors. Thank you for standing behind a more sustainable Summit County, and here's to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
