We are looking for 1 more boat to join us for the 5th Annual Heroes Offshore Adventure. Our goal this year is to take atleast 60 Active Military, Veterans, and First Responders Offshore.
We have enough lodging for up to 67, currently have 57 fishing slots available.
If you would like to work with us, let us know.
The fish day will be Sept 26, 2026, our of Hatteras Inlet.

As we start to prepare for next year, looking for more input:
1- Main Entry payout. Leave it as a winner takes all (50% of Main Entry) and pay out only 1st place; or option B or C. Option is 1st place receives 25%, 2nd place 15%, 3rd place receives 10%. Option C; 1st place receives 30%, 2nd place receives 20%.
Calcuttas would remain at winner takes all (75% of entries).
Calcuttas not weighed or released, will continue to rollover like most tournaments.

Input or suggestions from those that participate or plan to participate in 2027. Would like to start any changes with The Point Bluefin Tuna Tournament in February.

We are looking for a couple more boats to help us host our 5th Annual Heroes Offshore Adventure out of Hatteras. Our goal this year, is to host 60 Veterans and First Responders. We are waiting to hear back from a few boats. Currently, these are the boats committed:
Open Waters Sportfishing
Good Times Sportfishing
Runaway Sportfishing Charters
Sea Dream Fishing
Widespread
Dolphin Hunter
Sea DuckTress
Sound Bound Charters

Current angler spots available: 42

Weekend of Sept 27-27, fish day Sept 26.

If you wanna join us (As a boat offering spots for Veterans & First Responders), please either comment here or send us a message if youre interested. If you would like to donate the charter, in exchange for a tax credit, we can do that. We have a discounted rate with the fleet that we work with.

Over the past 3 years, we've partnered with Metalheads out of Erie, PA. He started making these flags when he first started Stempka Designs. While he's transitioned into building cool things like palm trees, lions, and other cool things. The flags have become a staple of his business.
In regards to these flags, we wanted to offer a trophy that separated us from everyone else. And Adam Stempka nailed it out of the park. They have become a staple of our tournament series.

Weve gotta take a minute to thank our meal sponsors:
Layden's Supermarket provided sausage links for the event staff for the weekend and was a tournament sponsor. In some way, they sponsor almost all of our events along the OBX.
Tavern on 12 provided BBQ pork and slaw for dinner Friday night. They are also a meal sponsor for our Annual Heroes Offshore Adventure in Sept.
BJs Carolina Cafe provided a full cater Saturday and Sunday night with Fried & BBQ chicken and Shrimp & flounder.
Huge shoutout to Charlie, Steve, and Ben for helping us pull this all together.

We would like to thank Eye Catcher Lures and Gettin Jiggy for both coming out and setting up a table for the weekend, as well as their donation to the buckets, raffles, and other various ways we were able to get them involved.
Next year, we would like to expand more on having our sponsors involved at the Pavilion. This is a great way for us to say thank you amd help promote them during the tournament. If you would like to come set up a table next year, let us know.
