The Videogame History Museum was established to document, preserve, and archive the history of the Videogame industry. The museum is the next logical evolution of the world-famous Classic Gaming Expo museum exhibit which is comprised of over 20,000 items spanning numerous collections and over 25 years of historical document and data archiving. The vision of the Videogame History Museum is to have

a physical research and reference facility that will also serve as an interactive educational exhibit to the industry and general public alike.

The construction continues on this country's first dedicated videogame museum. We're still targeting this summer though there is a LOT to do. This photo was taken earlier this week. You're standing in the lobby (where there will be quite an amazing piece of original art), looking at the outer wall of the ticket area/gift shop (teal wall). Turn left there into the museum; beyond the gift shop is the retro arcade. Paint and other finishes are starting to happen, the place will very quickly fill in. Hope to see you all here in Frisco, TX... just minutes away from Dallas!

The packing continues... Not really rare but a bit uncommon. I forgot that CBS sold the Stick Stand. Most people are familiar with the K*Byte retail version in the pinkish cardboard wrapper.

Here's something different. A prototype of a prototype if you will. This is a mock-up of the controller for the Atari Video System X (later Atari 5200). This is a non-functioning stick and has no internals. Pretty heavy too!

Another Jag controller prototype. Note the smooth black finish.
