Hey everyone! Get your light sticks and penlights ready - Ani Idol Dallas is BACK with a special Winter Matsuri idol fest for our 2027 Anime Dallas convention!

Idol applications are now open! So if your idol group would like to join us for this event please follow the link in the QR to apply and get in touch with Idol Nani who will be joining us again as the host for this amazing event!

This event will take place on Saturday 1/9/2027!

Book your stay now to qualify for the Hotel Premium Pass! Simply book your weekend stay at the hotel, and get your confirmation code. Next step is to go to the convention website ticket page to sign up for the Hotel Premium Pass! Hotels booked through our room block are only $130/night and include a free breakfast and 2 drink tickets for the evening reception each day. Also included in the hotel premium pass are 2 free 3 day badges to the convention!

Fandom has as many talents as it does people, and we want to celebrate yours! Join us in our second year of the Cosplay Cabaret Variety Show!

This is an open forum to show off your talents and celebrate those of other fans on the main stage! Because what better way is there to kick off a weekend of fun with friends than celebrating their amazing quirks and talents! Team up or go solo! Sing, Dance, Act, Play an instrument, collaborate with friends, create a show with a custom edited video accompanied by a live performance, act out a skit or a scene from your favorite anime - the evening's festivities are only limited by our imaginations!

Last year we launched this as an experiment, and a ton of people attended and said they enjoyed it and wanted to do it again, so here we go!!!

The Anime Dallas AMV Contest is back! Since we are celebrating a new year, what better way is there than to premiere an entirely new category! Get in on the action - this year we won't just have an all new contest full of great vidoes, we won't just have audience voting to determine the category winners and fan favorite, We will also introduce the all new Sing A Long category as the grand finale to the contest show!

Keep your eyes on our socials as we will release a list of songs that will be in that section in mid December so you can come ready to join us as we sing along to the most amazing AMVs that come our way! We are even offering a $100 cash prize for the judges pick on best singalong video submitted!

So if you make AMVs - please submit them to the contest before 12/1/2026!
If you love AMVs, come join us on Friday evening 1/8/2026 as we see what the world's best editors have created for us this time!
And if you like singing - come join us as we break new ground with this first ever AMV Contest sinaglong!
