Good Afternoon! It is with a sad heart that I report we need to cancel the Clothe A Child event again this year. When we decided to have the event, it was going to be a challenge to get everything in place - but we were willing to get it done! Then the numbers started to increase again with the new variant. We don't want to ask thousands to come together at this time and found it better to side with caution. We will continue to plan for a great 2022 event. If you are willing to help plan the event next year or are interested in having your church participate - please let us know!🙏😞

To our supporters and recipients,

We first want to thank you for being a part of Clothe A Child for the past several years. We have had several changes recently, including moving to a brand-new store, and this year will prove to be no different.

It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to postpone the Clothe A Child event in October. This was not an easy decision and not one taken lightly. We understand the clothing needs for the children in our communities, but we also need to consider their safety.

Given the social distancing guidelines it would challenging to get everyone in and out in a timely manner while keeping families 6 feet apart.

We are not going away and will be back next year! We are still looking at ways that we can help the communities this year. Please stay in contact through social media or with your local city coordinator.

Thank you again for all your support! We continue to pray that everyone remains safe and healthy and we look forward to having another great event in 2021.

Good Morning everyone! We wanted to thank everyone who participated in this years event! We had a great turnout for families and were able to clothe over 1000 children this year! We are already starting planning for the future and could use your help. We have a great leadership team in place, but could always use more help. We have a meeting next Monday the 18th at 7PM at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco. If you are interested to learn more about what we do and how to help us out, we would love to have you join us! No pressure!😁 Hope to see you there!!

So excited! Tomorrow, Saturday Oct 26th, is a Clothe a Child day! Lots of children will be getting new clothes very early in the morning at JCPenney’s. See you there. Come out and volunteer to help.

Tonight, Tuesday, Oct 22nd 7:00-8:00 pm, is our last Volunteer Training before our Big Event of Saturday, Oct 26th. The training will be held at First Baptist Church, 841 N. Preston Rd, Celina, TX. You will learn where to park for the event...hint-bottom floor of the parking garage by JCPenney. See you tonight or Saturday morning.

We had a great event today, with lots of children getting new clothes. Thank you to JCPenney for your great staff, quality product and great prices. Thank you volunteers for all your help and many rotations with families.

North Texas Giving Day is today. Please donate to Clothe a Child to give needy children in Frisco, Little Elm, Prosper, and Celina a chance to purchase new clothes. Several children get used clothes, but, Clothe a Child allows a child to purchase new clothes. This years event is a JCPeney's on October 19th and 26th.

Our Mission: Clothe a Child seeks to address the clothing needs of economically disadvantaged children in our communities through partnerships with ,Frisco, Little Elm, Prosper & Celina ISDs, churches, friends & businesses.

Clothe a Child participates in North Texas Giving Day. It is open now!! The name will show up as Clothe a Child Frisco, but you can see it says it covers Frisco, Little Elm, Prosper, and Celina. All funds, 100%, will go directly to new clothes for children in need, and the families get to pick out their own new clothes .
