State Representative Wes Virdell just testified at the RPT convention, as we have his bill in our Legislative Priorities. It is an important issue that TJA can support. “Texans shall license qualified legal paraprofessionals and legal apprenticeships, upon proper testing, to provide legal services and document preparation in family law, consumer debt and justice court cases.”

This evening, at the RPT Convention, Judge William (Doug) Wallace from Ellis County testified on the importance of having Audio and Video in the courtroom, one of our priorities. We are already working on it in legislature, with Senator Brent Hagenbuch doing a study on the cost. We pray the Republican Party of Texas will vote for it to be a priority for Texas.
