North Texas Soccer Vice President of Appeals & Discipline, Elena Williams, had the opportunity to visit the 2026 Karen Owens Soccerfest hosted by Bedford Euless Soccer Association (BESA) at Texas Star Soccer Complex on May 9, and what an incredible day it was!

The event welcomed BESA's 4U–8U boys and girls teams for a day filled with mini games, free activities, entertainment, and goodie bags for every player. The complex was packed with families, vendors, volunteers, and smiling faces, creating an atmosphere that truly celebrated the joy of youth soccer.

What stood out most was the heart behind the event. While visiting with BESA board members, parents and players continuously stopped by to say hello—and remarkably, the board members knew nearly every child by name. It was a powerful reminder that BESA is more than a soccer association; it's a community built on relationships, dedication, and genuine care for its players and families.

The love and appreciation that the community has for BESA was evident throughout the day. From the volunteers and organizers to the players and parents, everyone played a part in making the Karen Owens Soccerfest a memorable experience.

Thank you to BESA for your commitment to creating such a special event for your young athletes and their families. North Texas Soccer is proud to celebrate organizations that embody the spirit of community, sportsmanship, and player development.
