⚽ BUILDING A STRONGER COACHING EDUCATION PATHWAY IN NORTH TEXAS

North Texas Soccer had a great day last Saturday as our North Texas Coaching Educators came together for a day of collaboration, learning, and alignment.

Our educators worked through the U.S. Soccer Coaching Education pathway — from Grassroots through the D, C, and B Licenses — with one primary goal: to provide the best possible learning experience for every student coach who comes through a North Texas course.

A major focus of the day was creating a clear learning line throughout the pathway, ensuring that the concepts, terminology, methodology, and expectations introduced at Grassroots continue to develop and build as coaches progress through each level.

When our Coach Educators are aligned, our student coaches receive a better educational experience. When we develop better coaches, we create better environments for our players.

A special THANK YOU to U.S. Soccer for its continued partnership and support, and especially to Ian Mullinar, Nathan Hunt, and Niel Ellis for spending the day working alongside our North Texas Coaching Educators.

We appreciate everyone who participated and invested their time in continuing to improve Coaching Education throughout North Texas.

🏆⚽ CONGRATULATIONS, KAREN OWENS! ⚽🏆

North Texas Soccer is proud to celebrate Karen Owens of Bedford Euless Soccer Association (BESA), who was honored this past weekend with her induction into the City of Euless Hall of Fame! 🎉

Karen has been a dedicated part of BESA since 1992, giving countless volunteer hours and decades of service to youth soccer and the Euless community. Her commitment, passion, and love for the game have touched the lives of countless players, families, coaches, and fellow volunteers.

This very special honor recognizes Karen’s incredible contributions to the community. Her name will now have a permanent place in the City of Euless Hall of Fame at the soccer fields, ensuring that her legacy of service will be remembered for years to come.

Karen, thank you for more than 30 years of dedication to soccer and the young people you have served. This honor is so well deserved!
