We are currently experiencing an inflow of kittens, which is typical during kitten season. As a result, we are in need of assistance. Unfortunately, our space is limited. 🥺.

If you encounter a kitten in need, please follow these guidelines:
1. Provide a warm and safe environment. 2. Offer water or appropriate kitten milk, such as those available at Walmart, or goat's milk if possible. Avoid cow's milk. 3. Utilize a heat pad if the kitten's temperature is low, as this will affect their ability to eat.
4. Introduce a small litter box to encourage proper hygiene habits.
5. If bottle feeding is necessary, we can provide bottles and guidance.

If you find a kitten, we kindly request that you care for it until we have available space. We can offer supplies to support you in this endeavor.

Felines can reach reproductive maturity as early as four months. As many know our small towns struggle with feral cat populations. At Parmer Paws, we have successfully spayed or neutered 39 cats in Friona, since the start of the year and anticipate a gradual decline in the number of litters as a result of our efforts. 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

On Friday, April 3rd, a major tail-wagging milestone was reached for Mavis, formerly known as Sailor, as she started her new life with a family that was paws-itively perfect for her, marking the end of their search for the ideal fur-iend in a match made in doggy heaven. As Mavis settles into her forever home, she's getting tons of belly rubs and playtime, living her best life with her new crew. Her daily routine includes snuggling up on the couch for family movie nights, where she's treated like the real star of the show. As Mavis starts this new chapter, her future looks doggone bright, filled with endless belly laughs, happiness, and squeaky toys, which is music to the ears of those rooting for her. No more bad days sweet girl!!!
