Sometimes the world feels heavy… but then we look around our community and see so much GOOD. 💛

We want to start highlighting the kindness we see happening right here at home.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been able to deliver hygiene products, hand soap and sanitizer, snacks, and even a coat to local schools to help meet real, everyday needs. It may seem small to some, but to a child who needs it, it’s everything.

This week, our community center is also hosting students from Holy Cross who are serving in Fries. These amazing young people are spending their week doing volunteer work, pouring into our town — and they’re even sleeping in our office so they can be here to help. We were able to provide water and snacks for them during their stay, and we just want to say THANK YOU for your hard work and servant hearts. You are making a difference.

None of this happens by accident. None of it happens alone. It is all possible because of our faithful donors who continue to support the mission and believe in loving our community well.

Good is happening here. And we’re grateful to be part of it. 💙

We want to take a moment to give a HUGE thank you to Maurice Long with CLARIOS Battery Manufacturer in Kernersville, NC for his continued and faithful support of Rejected Cornerstone Organization. 🙏❤️

It’s truly amazing how God places the right people in your path at exactly the right time. Mr. Long is one of those people—someone whose generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission continues to bless our organization and, most importantly, the children we serve.

Beyond his support, Maurice is also an incredibly talented children’s book author. Our kids have absolutely loved his books!
📘 “Save a Noodle and Invest in a Sock” is a fun BevRock “Stoem” (a story + poem combo) told by a mysterious third-person narrator. It’s a simple yet powerful riddle that teaches rules and principles for true success. First shared by Beep’s dad and reinforced throughout the story, it reminds readers that the time is now—and that success comes from choosing to Be-Exceptional-Everyday-with-Purpose (BEEP!).

📗 “I Am a Creator and an Anomaly” introduces us to Beep—an extraordinary, multiracial, eleven-year-old with a big vocabulary, big dreams, and even bigger imagination. Despite growing up with financial hardship, Beep believes in himself and confidently pursues creativity and purpose. Parents, guardians, and kids alike can’t help but fall in love with his character—and we sure have.

Last night was a wonderful evening at the community center as Rejected Cornerstone Organization and the Fries Community Center, inc came together to pack food boxes for our Fries Angel Tree families. ❤️🎁

Because of the generosity of our amazing donors, we’re able to make sure these families have full hearts and full tables this Christmas season. Your support truly makes this possible, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you!

After a seven-hour shopping trip, we’re finally done! ✅ Today we’re filling stockings and pulling together all the supplies for the food boxes. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
