What an eventful night! 🀄💙🐎

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to play Mahjong and support Gallop for Grants! We had the best time learning, laughing, and playing for such a meaningful cause.

A special thank you to Mahjong for a Cause for having us and Robin for teaching us the game so perfectly. She made it fun, easy to learn, and now… we are officially hooked!

Because of Mahjong for a Cause we were able to raise over $1,000 for Gallop for Grants!

What an incredible finish to our 1st Annual Gallop for Grants penny fundraiser! Small change truly does make a big impact!

Because of the generosity of our Windsong families, staff, and community, we raised an amazing

🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

$20,300.91 — more than double our original goal. Through your support, 34 grants were purchased, totaling $14,796!
$2,689.91 came from pod donations and $2,815 was raised through treasure chest donations.
There is a total of $5,504.91 in Windsong’s treasure chest that will be used to purchase more grants!

Thank you for showing up, giving generously, and believing in our students and teachers. We are so grateful to everyone at Windsong and throughout our community who made this event such a huge success. What a special way to wrap up our very first Gallop for Grants! 💙🐴✨

🐎 If you’re going to adopt one grant today… let this be the one. It would truly change lives for some of our most incredible kids.

Teachers Impacted: Kristen Lorton, Tiffany Kirk, Rachel Bourgeous, Rose Starkey, Felecia Elizondo

This grant will provide sensory tools for many Windsong students — helping them regulate their bodies, stay focused, and be successful in the classroom.

For many students, these tools aren’t just helpful… they are essential. This grant supports students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, and it will make a meaningful difference in their daily school experience.

Let’s come together as a Windsong community and make sure every student has the support they need to succeed. 🐎

Today is the final day to Adopt a Grant for Friendswood ISD Education Foundation!

Mrs. Castillo and Mrs. Wiggins are hoping to bring a mobile write-and-wipe collaboration table to 4th grade students. This flexible workspace will help students brainstorm, solve math problems together, and map out ideas in real time.
