We’re Back!

Back-to-school season is here, and that means The Refuge is almost back in action! We can’t wait to welcome students for another year of fun, friendships, homework help, games, and growing together in Christ.

Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we’re excited for all God has in store this school year.

Because of the resurrection, victory isn’t just something we celebrate it’s something we live out.

Easter reminds us that Jesus didn’t just conquer the grave so we could stay comfortable. He did it so we would go. Go serve. Go reach. Go make disciples. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is what sends us out with purpose, boldness, and hope.

Let’s not keep the victory to ourselves. Let’s take it to the world.

Tisha is a true trailblazer, making history as the first-ever social worker in BCS. She has stepped into a brand-new role and built a vital system of support from the ground up—strengthening student well-being and connecting our families with life-changing resources.

The Refuge Club starts after school until 4:45 PM at Eagleton College & Career Academy in partnership with Broadway Baptist Church.

A place to be known, supported, and pointed toward Jesus!
*Optional transportation is available for students to attend Broadway Baptist Church Youth services after The Refuge Ends. Dinner is provided. 💚

Refuge is back and we’re excited to kick things off this week! 🎉 Refuge at Union Grove starts TOMORROW, with optional transportation available to Marble Hill following club.

We’re also gearing up for Eagleton College & Career, which begins next Wednesday, February 11, with optional transportation to Broadway Baptist Church.

Both spaces are all about creating a welcoming environment where students can build community, get academic support, have fun, and grow in their faith. 💙

Parents: If you have a student who wants to attend and need a permission form, comment below and we’ll get that information to you!

Big News from The Refuge!

This February, Refuge Club is starting back up at Union Grove Middle AND launching for the very first time at Eagleton College and Career Academy! 🎉

Our clubs meet on Wednesdays and give students a safe place to:
✔ Get homework help
✔ Enjoy snacks
✔ Play Games
✔ Learn about Jesus

Each school is connected with an assigned local church that supports, provides dinner, and disciples students. We also offer optional transportation to those partner churches for students who want to attend.
