🌲 It's National Public Lands Month!!! 🌲

Don't forget Adams County has PUBLIC County Forest Lands located in both Rome and Big Flats Townships, spanning just over 738 acres. Hiking trails are in the preliminary stages, but the grounds are still great for other recreational activities! 🦌🦆

Now is the time of year when wild Blue Lupine is in full bloom around our area. Although these flowers are temping to stop and pick for your sweetheart, resist the urge and enjoy the ambiance of the only plant the Federally Endangered Karner Blue Butterfly feeds on.

*FUN FACT* Adult Karner Blue Butterflies have a very short lifespan typically living only 5 to 7 days.*

The Adams County Well Water Testing Program is back for 2026!

Residents of Springville, Jackson, Dell Prairie, and New Haven are eligible to sign up. The first 50 participants to sign up from each Town will receive a free well water testing kit valued at $78.
