Ford/Banka Post 183, Friend, Nebraska

As a Tree City USA, the City of Friend dedicated it's Arbor Day tree to American Legion Post Ford/Banka #183. Several post members attended the planting, including a past post commander, current post commander, past membership chair person and members of the Sons of the American Legion. The Friend Legion Family would like to express our thanks to the City of Friend, Mayor Knoke, Arbor Day Foundation, EMF FFA and the Legion Auxiliary members that were present to support our members.

The Legion Basement will open at 1:30 on Sunday, December 14 for the NU Volleyball game. Come on down and help cheer on the Huskers.

Friday Dec.12th, come down the Legion Basement and watch the Nebraska Volleyball game with us and cheer on the Huskers. If/when we win, we will be open again on Sunday for the next round. We will open at 5:30 on Friday and go from there

The basement will be open on Saturday, November 22nd at 4:30 for the NU Volleyball game and NU Football game. Snacks and food are always welcome.

The Legion basement will be open Friday, August 29th at 6:30 pm. We don't know if we will be able to get the EMF game on, but there will be football on. Or you can come down after the EMF game and celebrate the first win of the year for the Bobcats (hopefully).
