We are planning our 60th Reunion for August 14th, 15th and 16th 2024.

August 14th will be a pizza party at Forgotten Star Brewery in Fridley, which used to be the site of Northern Pump. Cost $15

August 15th will be dinner at Banquets of Minnesota.in Fridley, which used to be the Maple Lanes Bowling Alley!
Cost $65

August 16th we have planned a tour of Fridley High School at 10 AM. FREE

August 16th 6:30-8:30 PM We are taking an Italian Dinner Cruise on the St. Croix leaving from Hudson, WI. Cost $54

Tickets are now available for any or all of the events.

Dear classmate of Fridley High School class of 1964.

This is Russ Skillings writing to you via the magic of televisual communication. I look back at Fridley High School and our years on the front edge of the Baby Boom! Like you I moved into a new junior high school and a new high school just when it was needed. We created the ducktail, the poodle skirt, the greaser and so much more. I would like you to be a part of another creation. One that will be here for many years to come.

The Fridley High School Class of 1964 Cookbook!

Think back through the years… and recall a favorite food you ate. A food that was not only delicious but was memorable because of who you were with or the occasion you were celebrating.

Can you find the recipe for that dish? I would like to collect as many of those recipes as possible and assemble them into a “FHS, Class of 1964- The food we Love” virtual cookbook. When I have assembled them, I will make them available to you, free of charge, via Dropbox or a similar sharing method.

Please include the following in your reply:
1. Your name.
2. Tell me a bit about yourself, post FHS. Particularly highlights and accomplishments.
3. The name of the food you love and why it is a favorite.
4. The recipe
5. A fond memory of FHS.
2, 3 and 5 are optional- I mainly want your favorite recipe.

I would like to collect them all by April 15, 2023. You will receive an email acknowledging my receipt of your recipe(s).

I guess I wasn't quite sure how this page works, so many of you are friending me on Mary Ann Vagovich profile attached to this page.
