We're having another rummage sale! Come by the Grange on Saturday, March 28th from 9:30am-2pm for some treasure hunting & great deals! 💸

If you've been looking for some motivation to do your spring cleaning, here's your chance! 🧹
We are seeking donations of gently used clothing, books, decor, kitchenware, toys, etc! Please drop off these items between 8am-9am the day of the sale.

We would also love volunteers - especially to help with set up & take down. Please send us a message or email ([email protected]) if you would like to volunteer or are unable to drop off items during the time frame on Saturday.

All proceeds will go to the AbuKhaled family.

Community Bike Ride this Saturday the 28th! Meet anytime after 11:30. We ride at noon!! Wear your helmet for this 6 mile loop around Pear Point. Good pal and designer of the bike dog stickers, Nate Colegrove, will be hosting this week!

Also make sure to stop by the rummage sale same day from 9:30-2pm. 🚲 ☀️ 🐕 🇵🇸

SWAP YOUR COOL STUFF THIS SATURDAY @ THE FOLD

Bring clothes you’re ready to part with, books who need a new friend, and houseplants or cuttings to share around the island!

We will kick things off at 11AM and wrap up at 2. Anything left behind will be donated to for their next rummage sale. We will spin some records and perhaps have some tea to offer. BYO mug please.

The SJSJC is headed to Orcas on March 8th to share the story of the Abu Khaled family and raise funds for their survival and evacuation from the Palestinian Genocide in Gaza.

The Community Potluck begins at 3:00pm, followed by a series of speakers at 4:30pm to share:
The Abu Khaled's story, their connection to the island community and an update on their current condition. Original poetry and music will also be shared.

In addition to accepting donations in kind, there will be local art for sale and a raffle of various local goods and services.

A recent message from Mahmoud;

"Dear All,
Salaam,
Yes it's not easy at all.
Am not feeling well, am feel like am going to e*plode.
Not sleeping well too, trying to do breathing exercises, trying to find way outside at any circumstances, no future or hope in this land."
