Today we had the pleasure of going to the Elementary School to teach the kids about fire prevention as a part of fire prevention week. We had an absolute blast getting to interact with the kids and teach them what to do and not to do in the case of an emergency. If you have kids in the elementary school please ask them what they learned today. This is something we look forward to every year and we got to have fun with a couple of the teachers racing one of our interiors in a donning drill. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the Fire Hall on Halloween and seeing everyone’s costumes.

🚒 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🚒

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Christopher Cusimano! ❤️

Chris is an Interior Firefighter and has been a member of the department for 5 years.

Chris has been around the fire department for as long as he can remember, spending countless hours hanging around the station with his dad and learning everything he could along the way. 🚒

One of Chris’s biggest dreams was to become a firefighter and one day work alongside his dad. Today, that dream has become a reality, and the two of them now have the opportunity to serve their community side by side. ❤️

When Chris isn’t at the fire department, he enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his niece and nephew, playing fetch with his dog Randie, and, of course, always fixing something! 🔧🐶

We’re proud to have Chris as a part of our department and are thankful for his dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving our community.

Thank you for all you do, Chris! ❤️🚒

This morning we went down to the Onaville Marina and put our boat in the water with Celoron Hose Company No. 1 and their fan boat. It was great weather this morning to be out on the water and a great time to train some of our younger members to run the boat and drive some of the equipment. Thank you Celoron for joining us.
