March is all about honoring Amelia 💗

In celebration of her birthday month, we’re kicking off our 🐻 Heartbeat Bear Drive 🐻 collecting special bears that carry the precious sound of a baby’s heartbeat inside. These bears are gifted to families who are about to say goodbye to their child, giving them something to hold onto when words simply aren’t enough.

Each bear is $40 and our goal is to gift 100 bears in Amelia’s honor. That’s 100 families who will have their baby’s heartbeat to hold onto forever.

Congratulations to Amelia's Angels Foundation, a Central Valley Community Foundation fund started by the Rodriguez family, on receiving the Outstanding Program award from the AFP California Valley Chapter!

Amelia's Angels provides toys and other items for children and infants in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (PICUs and NICUs) and eases the financial burden for affected families by assisting with food, lodging, and travel costs, and if necessary, funeral expenses.

"We do what we do not only to keep the memory of our daughter alive but also to provide support to families just like ours that need a helping hand," Christina Rodriguez said. "Recognition is never the goal of any philanthropic organization, but it is a vastly humbling and appreciated experience."
