A HUGE THANK YOU to all our members, new members and potential new members who came out and helped with the Cigar Fest BBQ! (450 New York Steaks & 150lbs of Chicken, Italian Green Beans, Rice Pilaf, Salad & Rolls)
We rocked the grill!! We had a lot of fun fellowship and raised money for some great causes!

Happy Labor Day Weekend from East Fresno Rotary! 🛠️☀️As we head into the long weekend, we want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers everywhere who keep our community moving forward. At Rotary, our guiding principle is Service Above Self. This weekend, we honor not only the everyday workforce but also the incredible volunteers, leaders, and community members who dedicate their time to making Fresno a better place to live and work. Whether you are firing up the BBQ, enjoying the extra time with family, or catching a break from your hard work, we hope you have a safe, relaxing, and wonderful holiday!

Rotary partnered with Dolly Parton on her Imagination Library! Proud to be a Rotarian!

The entertainer and philanthropist Dolly Parton died 25 August 2026. This Q&A was originally published in the March 2010 issue of The Rotarian (now Rotary) magazine. Later that year, she spoke at the Rotary International Convention in Montreal, Canada.
