California’s Central Valley has long been noted for its agriculture. A seemingly infinite variety of crops are grown here, then shipped around the globe to feed worldwide populations. Yet there is another vital Central Valley crop that goes relatively unnoticed and under appreciated, one that nourishes the spirit as much as the food nourishes the body, our music. Rising from the fertile soil of “T
he Valley” comes a harvest as rich in culture and variety as anything produced in the fields. Pick a genre –Country, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Classical, or any of the music representing the Valley’s cross-cultural tapestry, and you’ll find someone here who plays it, writes it, produces or teaches it at an exceptionally high level! Our mission, therefore, is seek out those exceptional players, writers, producers, promoters and educators, both past and present, who have contributed to our musical cornucopia and honor them with inclusion into The Valley Music Hall of Fame. The organization has goals so we may impact the music community through events that showcase the many talents that have made an impact from the past, current and for the future. With your help, our goals can be achieved but positioning VMHOF to offer recognition to inductee to the Valley Music Hall of Fame (VMHOF). Additionally make various contributions in the way of scholarships, grants or buying needed items for a classroom or for an individual, Music Medics. The Valley Music Hall of Fame is fiscally sponsored by CMAC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. CMAC's Tax ID number is 32-0251555.
