💜 Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Reedley Prayer Vigil yesterday.

We are deeply grateful to the City of Reedley, the Reedley Police Department, and the Reedley community for coming together to honor the lives lost to domestic violence and stand alongside survivors with compassion, strength, and support.

A special thank you to the Mason family for joining us once again this year. Your continued presence and strength are a powerful reminder of Marjaree’s life and the legacy that lives on through this mission. Her memory continues to inspire our work and strengthen our resolve to create a community where every individual can live free from domestic violence.

Moments like these remind us that this work is bigger than any one organization. It is a commitment we share as a community—to remember those we have lost, support those who are still healing, and work together to ensure that no survivor has to face this journey alone. 💜

It was a pleasure to connect with our community, spend time with our Board of Directors, new CEO Leticia Campos, and leadership team, and share more about the work we do to support survivors of domestic violence.

🎨It’s Creative Connection Thursday!🎨

Our team recently hosted an art class featuring Heart Stories, a workshop from A Window Between Worlds. Participants were invited to reflect on the experiences, people, and hopes that live within their hearts while creating their own unique decorated straw hats.

Before creating, participants took part in a Heart Talk discussion, reflecting on what makes their hearts feel scared, what brings them happiness, and what they would do if their hearts could experience something new.

Art can be a powerful way to express emotions, process experiences, and create moments of healing. Through creativity and conversation, participants had an opportunity to connect, reflect, and share in a supportive environment.

We loved seeing each participant bring their own story and creativity to their artwork. 💜🎨

The Marjaree Mason Center’s kNOw MORE® program gives teens the opportunity to learn about healthy relationships, recognize warning signs of abuse, and understand the impact unhealthy relationships can have through activities, videos, real-life situations, and more.

But don’t just take our word for it—hear feedback from the students who have experienced the program and learn how kNOw MORE® has impacted them.

Educating our youth is an important step toward breaking the cycle of violence. A HUGE thank you to our kNOw MORE® team for taking these conversations into our schools and communities and helping equip the next generation with the knowledge to build healthy relationships. 💜

From creating a plan for your home and daily routines to considering workplace and travel safety, there are steps you can take to help increase your sense of security.
