Hello Central Valley MH Professionals! I need your help...OLFT is looking for a bilingual (Spanish) Associate, who is early in their hours, has background in (or desire to learn about) early childhood, and has an interest in working with migrant families. I now that's a lot, but this is a specific urgent need with our migrant contract! CAMFT and the BBS are meeting in November to discuss supervision reform. If the BBS gives it's blessing then it will go through the process of becoming law early in 2021. PLEASE take a minute to send an email to both the BBS at [email protected] and Christy Berger at [email protected] at the BBS.
You can use this as a template:

I am in a private practice. I would greatly appreciate your consideration of the negotiations brought forward by CAMFT to make supervision regulations for private practices consistent with those of agencies, namely:

- Allow supervisors in private practice the same privileges as in agencies, to supervise more than 3 associates and have 8-10 associates in a group with one clinical supervisor

- Allow supervision via teleconferencing to continue after Covid-19 at the supervisor's discretion

- Allow associates to provide telehealth from home, at the supervisor's discretion.
