The Music Therapist is In!

We are excited to welcome board-certified music therapist Miranda Morse, a member of our flute section, as she introduces us to the fascinating and often little-known field of music therapy.

Join us for our second concert of the season "Appointment with the Music Therapist" on Saturday, October 17 at the Fresno City College Theatre. We will offer two shows: 3 PM and 7 PM.

Tickets are available at Patrick's Music, Murphy Bank, and via Eventbrite at this link:

Most people would agree that music can be therapeutic, but that does not make it music therapy.

Since 1971, when Congress established the last Monday of May as Memorial Day and a federal holiday, Americans have enjoyed the traditional long weekend with family and friends, perhaps attending a parade, visiting a National Park, or hosting a cookout.

We are humbled that so many of you make our annual Memorial Day Concert part of your yearly tradition.

We invite all to share an afternoon of remembrance through live music on Sunday, May 24 at 3:00 PM at the Paul Shaghoian Memorial Concert Hall. Tickets available at Patrick's Music, Murphy Bank, and online at https://www.fresnocommunityband.org/.

Here is a selection from our last concert, "A Trip to the Zoo," from the movie soundtrack "Dances With Wolves," by John Barry, arranged by Jay Bocook.

Join us on Sunday, May 24 at 3:00 PM for our final concert of the season, "Echoes of Courage" at the Paul Shaghoian Memorial Concert Hall. You may purchase tickets at Patrick's Music, Murphy Bank, or online at https://www.fresnocommunityband.org/.
