As the nation approaches the 250th anniversary of American independence, a unique traveling exhibit is making its way to Fresno. The Daughters of the American Revolution, in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust, will present the American Revolution Experience at the Museum of Valor from June 6–16, 2026.
This engaging pop-up exhibit features interactive kiosks, vivid storytelling, and compelling visuals that bring the Revolutionary era to life. Through 12 illustrated panels and digital experiences, visitors can explore the lives of both well-known figures and everyday individuals—drummer boys, mapmakers, and others—who shaped America’s fight for independence.
The exhibit also highlights the diverse perspectives of the era, including Patriots and Loyalists, women, Black and Native populations, and international allies. Visitors are invited to consider the difficult choices faced by ordinary people during a time of extraordinary change.
The Fresno-Yosemite Chapter, NSDAR will host a special meeting at the Museum of Valor on June 6 at 10:00 a.m. where the American Revolution Experience will be the main event! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with history in a meaningful and interactive way.
