Today, you would have celebrated your 28th birthday. Yet in my heart, you will forever be 19—the age you were when the Lord called you home.
People often say time heals all wounds, but I’ve learned that losing someone you love never truly gets easier. You simply learn, by God’s grace, how to carry both the love and the loss. Some days are lighter than others, but the love remains just as deep.
I thank God for the 19 beautiful years He allowed us to share with you. Your life continues to inspire us, your legacy continues to bless others, and your light still shines through every life touched by the mission of the 24Strong Foundation.
I miss your smile, your laughter, your voice, and your presence every single day. Until we meet again, I’ll continue to honor your life, celebrate your legacy, and thank God for the privilege of being your mom.
