πΎπ Happy Retirement, Sandy Bailey! ππΎ
Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible woman whose impact on CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties will be felt for years to come.
Sandy Bailey officially retired from CASA, but her legacy of service, compassion, and advocacy will never retire.
For many years, Sandy served as a dedicated CASA Advocate, standing beside foster youth when they needed someone most. She took on multiple cases throughout her time as an advocate and even holds the distinction of serving more youth at one time than any other advocate in our organization's history. Her commitment to ensuring children had a voice and a champion in their corner changed countless lives.
When it came time to step away from advocacy, Sandy wasn't quite finished serving. She joined our team as a part-time employee, helping keep our office organized, stocked, and running smoothly. From preparing event supplies and outreach booths to making sure every detail was in place, Sandy was always one step ahead and ready to help wherever needed.
As a devoted dog lover, it was only fitting that we celebrated her with a special "paw-ty" themed retirement party! πΆπ
While we will miss seeing her around the office, we are so excited for Sandy as she begins this next chapter filled with well-deserved relaxation, rest, and time to enjoy the things she loves most.
Moments like these remind us that CASA is more than an organizationβit's a community of people who genuinely care about children and each other. Sandy has not only impacted the lives of countless youth, but she has also mentored fellow advocates, supported our staff, and helped strengthen our mission every step of the way.
Thank you, Sandy, for your years of dedication, advocacy, kindness, and heart. We are endlessly grateful for all you've done for CASA and the children we serve.
And while she's officially retired, we're happy to report that Sandy says she'll still be around for some of our favorite eventsβespecially the Toy Drive. β€οΈ
Please join us in wishing Sandy a happy and relaxing retirement! π
