๐Ÿ“ธ Then & Now: Math Bridge Growth Through the Years! ๐Ÿ“ธ

Below is a throwback photo from our very first Math Bridge cohort alongside a photo from Cohort #2. Looking back reminds us just how far we've come!

What started with a single cohort of students has grown into a movement that has more than doubled in size and helped over 1,000 alumni successfully complete a college-level math course and satisfy their general education math requirement at all California Community Colleges and California State Universities. ๐ŸŽ“โž•๐Ÿ“š

Every student represents a story of perseverance, opportunity, and a brighter future. We couldn't be prouder of the impact our students, instructors, and partners have made across California.

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to our Math Bridge class at Dos Palos High School! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are proud to celebrate a 100% pass rate for the class overall, with 18 students moving on to their next chapter with their college math requirements already satisfied. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ“š

This achievement is especially exciting because it marks the first year of implementing Math Bridge at Dos Palos High Schoolโ€”and it was a huge success! Students thrived under the guidance of the incredible instructional team of high school teacher Gabriela Tovar and Merced College professor Kylie Freitas. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you both for creating such a supportive, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment for your students. We are so proud of this cohort and can't wait to see what they accomplish next! ๐ŸŒŸ

Congratulations to the incredible Math Bridge Class of 2026 at Orosi High School for achieving a perfect 100% pass rate across their entire cohort!

This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of every student, as well as the exceptional leadership of Math Bridge instructors Ms. Rajneet Sihota and Dr. Mike Little-Crow of Reedley College. Together, this dynamic power team has now guided two Math Bridge cohorts across the finish line, helping students build confidence, strengthen their math skills, and prepare for success in higher education.

We are incredibly proud of this year's graduates and excited to support them as they begin their next chapter in college, career, and beyond. ๐ŸŒŸ

At Bridges Over the Valley: Strengthening the K-20 Math Pipeline at San Joaquin Delta College, Dr. Nicole Korgie shared powerful insights on the tools educators need to truly guide student success.

From A-G course lists and course validation to the Program Pathways Mapper, her presentation connected the dots between high school coursework and long-term degree trajectories. Drawing on over 25 years of experience in admissions and outreach, Dr. Korgie brings clarity to the often complex journey of student matriculation, especially for diverse student populations.
