🎉 Big news from Math Bridge!

We’re proud to announce the official Math Bridge logo, designed by Ethan Garcia, a talented student in the Math Bridge class at Mariposa County High School!

Ethan created the winning design in our student logo competition, and his artwork will now represent the Math Bridge project moving forward. His class is co-taught by high school instructor Ben Jewell and Merced College professor Kristi Rieg, whose students continue to show incredible creativity and dedication.

We’re so proud of Ethan and all the amazing Math Bridge students who inspire us every day. Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment! 👏

🎤 Spotlight on Leadership in Action!

At our Bridges Over the Valley: Strengthening the K-20 Math Pipeline convening at San Joaquin Delta College, our own Ms. Vicky Armstrong, K-12 Leadership Specialist, shared insights from more than 35 years in education.

From leading a school to the California Distinguished School Award to mentoring leaders across districts, Vicky knows what it takes to build systems that support educators and help students thrive. Her perspective on leadership, collaboration, and equity helped spark meaningful conversations about improving math pathways from high school to higher education.

We’re grateful to have such experienced voices helping guide the work toward stronger outcomes for students across the Central Valley. 💡📊
