To celebrate National Coming Out Day, Supervisor Luis Chavez organized a community recognition event today to acknowledge community members who support the well-being of Fresno County's LGBTQ+ community. Padre Nelson Serrano-Poveda represented our Diocese and Cathedral and thanked Supervisor Chavez for his continued support of the LGBTQ+ and Latino communities. City Councilmember Annalisa Perea shared a proclamation from Mayor Jerry Dyer and Fresno City Council declaring Sunday October 11th Coming Out Day in the City of Fresno, California. Since now Happy National Coming Out Day EDSJ.
