The court has spoken: Measure S is headed to the November ballot! 🎉

A judge ruled today that the Board of Supervisors' decision to order a 30-day study "had the result of preventing the citizens of Fresno County from exercising their democratic right to vote on an issue of significant consequence to the County."

Thanks to this ruling, the democratic process can finally move forward.

Now is the time to support the taxpayer-led initiative that will deliver real transportation solutions to all families across Fresno County!

Join us in wishing good luck to JaiLynn, one of our youth interns who is heading to San Jose State, where she plans to major in psychology. 🎓💙💛

JaiLynn was a big advocate for the outdoors and green spaces! 🌿💚 Throughout her time at Fresno BHC, she brought passion and energy to the work and showed how important youth leadership is in our communities.

We are so proud of everything she has accomplished, and we know she will make a positive impact in school and wherever life takes her next.

📢 FRESNO: SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING TODAY 📢

City Council is holding an emergency special session today at 3 PM to decide whether to pull the city's general sales tax measure from the November ballot — and YOU need to show up.

With the county's Better Roads, Safe Streets transportation tax now set for the November ballot too, Fresno voters could be asked to approve two tax measures at once. Council has the final say — after that, it's locked in for November.

If you don't want two competing tax measures on your ballot this fall, this is your one chance to be heard. Come to City Hall. Speak up. Make your voice count.

VICTORY FOR FRESNO COUNTY VOTERS! 🎉

Governor Newsom has signed AB 1923 into law — which means the Better Roads, Safe Streets initiative is officially headed to the ballot this November! 🛣️✨

A HUGE thank you to Assemblymember Soria and Senator Caballero for authoring this bill and fighting for us in Sacramento. And thank you to Governor Newsom for signing it and protecting local democracy!

More than 32,000 Fresno County taxpayers signed petitions to place this measure on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Their message was clear: local decisions belong in the hands of voters.

Fresno County voters will finally get their say on the future of dedicated funding to repair potholes, fix neighborhood streets, create safe routes to school, and generate local jobs.

🚀 Native plants ready to be planted in the demonstration garden

We know many of you are asking about the historic rocket—it will be installed soon, and we can't wait to share the excitement with you! 🚀

Yosemite National Park is only 90 miles from Fresno, but so many local youth never get the chance to see it.

Recently, our youth interns took a weeklong camping trip to Yosemite to experience one of the most beautiful places in America. ⛺️🌲

Our team spent the week:
🥾 Hiking and exploring park trails
🌌 Sleeping under the stars
🌱 Learning about land protection and environmental stewardship

When you fall in love with a place, you're willing to fight for it. This trip will fuel our interns as they advocate for equal outdoor access for all families.

We believe every young person deserves access to wild spaces. 💚
