Slow Food Sacramento is coming together for our annual meeting on October 20th at 6pm at OBRAZ Romo Studios . Meeting will include a reflection of the last year and a vision for 2027. New board members will be introduced and they will share some insights. Chapter members that attended Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026 in Turin, Italy will have a chance to address the chapter.

Gerine Williams has a passion for food and community. With a long career in the food industry and community development network here in Sacramento. In 2023 Gerine joined Food Literacy Center; working as Community Engagement Manager, overseeing both the Oak Park Farmers Market and outreach and engagement events for the organization. She Joined the Slow Food Sacramento board in 2025 and organized a World Diaco Soup Day both in 2025 and 2026. Buon Viaggio!

Slow Food Sacramento is going big at ARTMIX B**R GARDEN this year. 9/10 6-9pm.

This year Slow Food Sacramento will be bringing along an entire farmer’s market, along with food trucks featuring plates made with goodies from local farms, including Chavious Pop-Up, Piggy Back Smashburgers, Die De Los Tacos, LadyHawke Farm , Root 64, and We Grow Urban Farm West Sac.

New Helvetia Brewing will be around with their HMBY Project b**r in cans, and Oak Park Brewery is rolling out another Sorghum b**r just for the occasion. Nitty’s C***r will be showcasing some special Slow C***rs with local juice. Link in Bio for tickets. Crocker members get in free!
